Pet Peeve of the Moment
In TV shows, when a character grabs a cup of coffee in a to go cup, and pretends to drink it, and you can just tell it's stone cold empty. Look, I know I'm watching actors, on a set, behind cameras, etc. But if I'm gonna suspend my disbelief of all that, at least give those fuckers some real coffee.

I Agree
My pet peeve is almost the opposite (although yours is annoying too). I HATE when people talk with food in their mouths on tv shows. I mean, it's one thing when the script says:
Scene: Family At Dinner Table Eating Calmly.
Junior starts to throw porridge all over cat. Mother jumps up, mid-bite, from table saying "Mmmmff! mmff! Stop!"
I can deal with that. It's the walking along eating ice cream or whatever and blabbing scenes that kill me. It's not realism, it's disgusting and annoying!
They could, at the very least, ad some water, to give it some weight. I always notice, too. It's quite annoying.
Really, that should be "add", but whatever. :)
